What You Will Learn

This curriculum focuses on the transformative power of design in social and cultural contexts. Core areas of study typically include:

  • Design Thinking & Strategy: Using human-centered methodologies to develop innovative solutions for cultural organizations and community projects.

  • Cultural Literacy & Theory:Understanding the history and impact of art, architecture, and design on society, both past and present.

  • Creative Leadership: Gaining the skills to manage teams, lead projects, and advocate for ethical practices in creative industries.

  • Visual Communication: Mastering the tools and narratives needed to convey complex ideas across digital and physical platforms.

  • Institutional Practice: Exploring the operational side of the arts, including curatorial practices, policy development, exhibition design, and audience engagement.
